You can import it into the US, it will be a bit more $$$ though. Unless you do most of the retrofits yourself prior to sending it to the RI.

Buy the motor and get the rest of the car for free :) I'll think I'll take both cars to Ted Fest this year. Maybe someone there might take some interest in it.

It'd be easier for me to boost it from your house, dodge the projectiles you would invariably send in my direction, rent a storage shed, and part the car out than to deal with the EPA and DOT (even though we got a wagon and an M5 in the US.)

Try me you might be surprised, the federalization isn't that bad. Or if you live in a state with no titles if a car is 15yrs or older, even easier ;)

Why do people delete their for sale posts when the item is gone? Some of us may want to see the car still. This info being saved could help others with insurance negotiations and future purchases.

+1

Congrats on the sale though. In another time and place I would have jumped on that. Neat car.

Agreed, fucking pisses me off. Thanks, now none of us can use this thread to research values.

Lets see the price was at $15k firm and then the next post said SOLD. Not that hard to figure out what the value was ;)

Yeah, but we don't know what the condition of the car was.
