1988 m5 key light

While replacing the battery in key head I noticed the little light bulb and was wondering if you know of a LED
Replacement?

Any LED that will work with the voltage supplied by the battery and fit the key will work. Don't recall the battery voltage but if too high a dropping resistor is used to prevent the LED from dying. Shouldn't be hard to get one to work. Common sizes are 3mm and 5mm LEDs but there are others.
