Is the m5 air conditioning mechanism on engine different
from other e28's ?

You need to be more specific about the question. Most (if not all) parts are exactly the same, but we'd need to know which parts you're talking about.

Ok, is the condenser, compressor and compressor bracket
and refrigerant lines the same in the m5 as other
E28 models?

OK, taking the example of the condenser, go to the RealOEM diagram and click on the part number, which gives you another link to click:

You can do the same for the other parts.
