Almost everyone has a black dash. The lower dash panels come in different colors

but we know what you mean you want a part number 1 in anthrazit

dang, still available new. Don't see that a lot on such specific parts. Someone has one.

Thanks for the heads up!

I just got one too - in perlbeige. Supposedly will ship 10/7/21.

Any idea why you can still can get these rando parts brand new and reasonably priced but not a dash? Or all the best things in the 80s catalogue for that matter..

Thanks again.

It is simple why some things like this are available.

1) they made enough of them to have many of them still available in the parts depot in Germany.
2) price remains reasonable until the stock gets low when BMW will jack the price to 5 times what it is now to force people to look for used parts, keeping the expensive ones for special customers or for themselves, if they ever rebuild an E28.

Get em while the getting is good.

That ship by date is probably a cruel joke.

Actually, I ordered one of these and received it a few weeks ago. I too was shocked that it was available and even more so that ECS delivered as advertised (give or take a week).

might be something that is not in US warehouse and needs to come from Germany...longer lead time but if they have it, it will get here.
