Some BMW oversteer stuff

Some interesting archive stuff on how BMW used to be.

When going through the slalom course, MotorWeek's John Davis said some purists on the staff preferred the e21 320i's oversteer to the more neutral new e30 318i.

It makes me think BMW couldn't hand out a car like the 528e to the average person these days. They would wipe themselves out, then sue the company. "OK Boomer" and the 4 series grille would be the least of their problems lol.

To think BMW management held off doing diesels for years, because it didn't suit the company's image. Diesels were what Mercedes did. There was a time when 99% of Mercedes were dog slow, sun dial measuring 0-60 mph slow.;)
