This car is a beauty, really clean, fun and fast. Although it has high miles, it runs really well, has no issues mechanical. There are a few minor things I made note of.
Shifter nob comes loose, just needs new hardware, doesn’t keep the car from shifting. Rear glove box needs to be re-glued. Passenger seat belt receiver is busted. Front emblem is missing. Antenna is missing. Dash has some cracking.
It’s a great car that would make an amazing weekend driver for the money. Feel free to come test drive it.

I thought the ETA was a 525e in Europe? What am I missing?
It's a US car with euro bumpers. And poorly done at that. Note white thingies in front.
Tough crowd but valid point... I was impressed they filled the rear side light wire holes. Now that you mention it, those white thingies in front stick out terribly! I melted mine off... Looks like an actual euro front valance?

Let's all laugh at the $12k price of this 535is for sale in Portland. An auto too! Did 535is even come in an auto?

The price is quite high for the mileage but overall it looks like it might be a pretty nice car. It probably deserves a much presentation than a few quick photos taken behind the house on a dismal rainy day in Portland.

EDIT: Sorry for my triple posts. The forum was evidently going through one of its hiccups when I was trying to post.

That offerup leaves a lot to be desired. I know there are a lot of hungry E28 "owners-to-be" that might jump at that but I think most of us would pass based on the lack of effort put into the listing.
In my experience, sometimes the ads that provide sparse information turn out to be the best buys. Most shoppers pass them up because they want all the details handed to them in a quick read. But those who are willing to put in a little more effort and probe deeper have the potential to find some real gems that others have passed up.
After owning something like 40-50 cars in my lifetime, I can't honestly say it describes EVERY car I've ever bought; the first few were my personal learning curve. But it pretty accurately describes the ones that turned out to be exceptional in one way or another.
