GONE! - FREE: 1985 535i parts car (Seattle Area)

Post by cek »

Hi. I have a parts car I want to give away. I've taken everything off of it I want. It has tons of good parts still. I do not want to deal with arranging transportation to salvage.

WBADC7400F0653526 - 1985 BMW 535i, Diamondswartz on Beige. Supposedly had 160k on the clock when it was murdered.
- Rust Free West Coast Chassis(tm)
- Crashed up front (no body parts from the front wheel wells forward is wroth salvaging)
- No engine
- No transmission
- No diff

It looks like this:

Some highlights:
- I think all sheet metal from the front doors back is good.
- All glass (except windshield) is good
- Comfort seats are there, as is the rear seat (but I've never seen it because the rear is filled with parts).

You need to arrange transport for it and haul it away. If you do, I will sign the title over to you and elbow-bump you, for no monies.

No, I won't pull parts for you and sell them to you. You want something, you get the entire thing and the responsibility of disposing of it.

Also, don't ask me if it still has part x, y, or z. I don't know for sure.

Still free. Still there. Still lots of good parts on it.

For example:
  • Front subframe & steering box.
  • Rear door cards & door trim
  • All glass
  • Most body panels are dent (if not ding) free.

I really don't want this car to go to crusher with all those parts still on it. But if it's not gone in the next week or so, I'm going to catch shit for it.

Do you think I could drive it to the East Coast without significant breakdowns?

You snoozed. You losed.

T'was a shame seeing this go to the crusher. But at least we all know precisely what a 1985 535i is worth: $94.

It’s very sad, wish I was closer to WA.

Good luck at least it sounds like you got some good parts from it.
