Damn! I really suffer with you. :(

But hey! Listen to me now!
You take it just nice and easy and you fix one of thoose problems at a time, and i promisde you it will feel much better afterwards! :D

It's really depressing and it feels like shit when everything falls apart at the same time.
I have lots of experience of it my self and i know today that it's so much easier and it feels so good if you just concentrate to fix one problem at the time.
When one shit is fixed you feel good inside, and then you want to feel more good! :D

So just grab your tools mate and get that f*cking beast running again! :D ;)

Hi,

if your car is registered and running, what about an dyno measurement? If i remember correctly you are running 1,9 bar of boost and have a big turbo, so this should bring some really serious power figures. As written so many time, i would really love to see, what peak power you reach and how quick the turbo spools.

Can we assume to see some dyno plots anytime soon?

Best Regards

Lucky guy! For a 524TD you pay almost €1500,- a year for road tax!

But when your car gets older than 25 years it is free of road tax.

Not in finland.... my td is 83' so its over 30yrs old...

those payments are every year and nothing will change.... this is what car costs in finland...

and if i have newer car.... you can double that cost...
this why finland has very old cars...

im going to do turbo exhaust manifold for his engine...

power goal is 200hp so nothing special... but idea is that engine room looks factory like...

many people asks why the hell m40 engine....

Hi,

i hope you have had a good christmas and also wand to wish a happy new year (at least in days).

Looking forward to see some more pics and data from your diesel bimmer next year.

Best Regards
Alleslowbuged

P.S.
My one has get a new water cooler and is now rock solid in regard of the coolant temperature. I run it with 1,2 or 1,3 bar of boost for the last couple of weeks and everything runs fine and it pulls very strong, even with this relative low boost level. I really love this machines, i am now also in some 325TDS, but even if the tds is reving a bit more keen, i more like the mechanical throttle feel from the 524TD engine.

Well i forget few issues with my car...

main problem is front shocks which are made by koni, they where leaking oil out whole summer and in the end they stopped working properly...

I need fix this issue before inspection, but i has limited amount of money, good thing is that im former hydraulics mechanic so i can fix those by my self.

so that was issue number 1.

issue number 2.

Slave cylinder of my clutch which does not working
clutch plate is weared a bit so pushrod of slave cylinder is too short, i try to make it bit longer if that helps.

there is more small issues what i need to fix... but i hope that i will get all fixed and at last i can make good burnout video for you ;)
