New *Dual* - USB Charging Port - Custom Part - OEM Looks

Post by george graves »

- Fits all E28/e24/e32/e30 with a extra blank in the radio/HVAC bezel.

- Simple install - it snaps into place. Two wires need to be connected to the radio harness. Orange connects to the radio's ACC/power, and black to ground. That's it. Very simple install.

- Allows you to charge any cell phone, ipod, iphone, android, or mp3 device.

Shown here in a e30 HVAC panel - also fits e28/e24 in he blanks next to the radio.

Thanks - I'll look into it.

You both should have USPS tracking number sent to your email. That will ship out in the AM.

Karl Grau ;)

One left ready to ship. The rest will be built to order.

I'm good. I just thought it was an important point. 1000mA is great, because it will actually charge your average phone while using something like Google maps. The charger I bought from my cell service provider is only 500mA and it takes forever to charge and the battery drains when using nav unless I turn off the screen.

Nice job, these look great!

I have one e34 switch blank - they are kinda hard to find.

If you have any laying around that you'd like to send me, I could make you a e34 version. PM me for details.

Where is it supposed to go in the E34? Next to the fog switch? Have to say using the lighter socket totally sucks in the E34.

Thats where my bluetooth mic is. Yes, the ashtray deal is a bit clunky. I also have to figure out where to poke the ipod link cable out cleanly.

/hijack, sorry!

I'm shopping for more switch blanks. Anyone know who is parting out a lot of e30/e28's BMW's these days?

I know there was a guy on here that his name escapes me but it was something like John@theshop? Is he still around?

Sorry for the delay in getting these out - I drcided to write up some instructions for you guys. Then I got a really bad tooth ache and dealing with all of the dental work stuff this week. Hope to get them out today or Monday. Sorry about that!

I've been in a bit of pain! Ouch!

Have you checked with BluntTech? I source 100% of my BMW & Toyota parts through them. Great guys & prices. There's Steve and Brandon and both can be reached via this site or by email: sales@blunttech.com

I'd like to be put on a list for the e28 variety when you get more!

Legalese: I am not affiliated or employed by BluntTech. Just an extremely satisfied customer.
