Show us your insides!

Post by Das_Prachtstrasse »

Im curious as to how many colour variations there have been for the interior upholstery, seats, dash, carpet..etc So as with the previous exterior colour thread, where users posted images of the various stock and indeed custom colour codings for the outside of your e28s, lets see some of those colourful interiors you guys have out there. One of each is plenty, so before you post, check it isnt already there ;)

i light makes the seats appear much brighter then they are. the car is a 85 535, i like the no center tail light. but no one can see your brake lights.

Here is the new leather (as of April) from Jim's Auto Upholstery (in SD, CA) in my 535is. The flash kinda washed out the seat in the foreground, but the rear seats show it's true color.

Barge,

I think the two-tone looks great! What's with the extra plug on the rear door forward and above the window crank?

Am I correct to assume that my interior is the most common? Same as the American M5's at least..

Damn BMWgiant, those seats could really use some Leatherique! They would look great!

Here's mine anyway (they could also use a treatment). Dash is nice under the grandma cover, and I wanna keep it that way!

thats exactly what it was, i know they look kinda stupid but i didnt really care, i have power windows in the new E28 so i had to swap the caps around haha

yeah i was going for the full leather look as ive seen it on an E34 before and it looked fantastic! so i thought id give it a whirl, hopefully i pulled it off ey

yeah the wheels were replicas, 17X8 all round with federal rubber. they were pretty good wheels even though they were fakes, but VERY heavy!

thanks guys!

Is your seat-to-door panel mismatch intentional?

Thanks Kyle!

The interior is completely original and I owe the real thanks to the original owner. He had front and rear sheepskins for the first 21 years.
