Re: "Chumbucket" Burgundrot '85 535i 5spd (11/18 Real Update
Way above my pay grade but beautiful to watch and so rewarding. I remember my tii I helped my friend rebuild the engine with 89.44 Mahle Piano tops. That was the shit man you couldn't stop me with a bullet. When we finished I remember going out bar hopping with it and my friend and I were all geeked out meanwhile most folks eyes were glazing over that is some pretty obscure stuff to normal people LOL.

It'll be getting the shiny stuff sprayed on. $2500 paint job should look sharp when its done, he'll be staying with US bumpers. Since he actually daily drives it, and already been tapped in the behind. Ford truck bounced off the diving board.

Good price because he did the trim removal they don't like messing with on 30 year old cars with hard to find parts.

This E30 M3 was pretty infamous, it was know to me as a child as "The Noisy Racecar", looking back it was really a simple build M3. To my mother it was a money pit, Dad at this time wasn't DIY and got raped by a shop. He drove it for a long time on H&R Race with Billies as well as RA1's he had a LOT of fun with Spec Miatas out at TWS. Eventually someone convinced him to rebuild the good running 100k mile S14, shortly became a money pit after that. He go tired of that shop and had a Metric Mechanic 2.5. It blew up in Oklahoma crossing the Red River, on a work trip. Mommy said it was him or the M3. He sold it for like $5k. Imagine finding a e30 m3, rust free, clean, no accident damage, black on black with dogleg for that much now.
