Updates will be coming in about 4 weeks, at the moment, the car is in for a media blast, body work and a full respray.
The engine is being stripped down again for a full crank, flywheel balance, but the compression is staying low for the Rotrex.

BTW Bungles, what HP did you make?

Many people would have just bought another one.
In the UK, this is actually rather minor rust. I once heard they use approx. 500 lb. of salt per mile in the winter (not to mention that there is a huge proportion of 'coast cars' compared to here). You should see what they have to do to rebuild Triumphs that are 20 yrs. older than this.

ya, updates are pretty rare in the whole FI section, looking back at this thread, the S36 intake manifold is like worth its weight in gold now, you need a donor car and/or complete engine to get one of those now.....

Interior has partly been completed.
For those of you guys that didn't know, this M30 build is going into my E30.
I already have a cab, with another M30 installed.

But, here's some pics. Ignore the colour difference, that's down to the phone cameras used, ,The colours are the same through out.

E30 M3 rear bench and Recaro LS seats.

Are you by chance the same person that built a e30 with an m30 motor and m90 supercharger a while back?

No, that's not me.
My M30 build was done over 10 years ago on the cab.
