My story
My first car was in 1969, a 1967 bmw 1600
Then the 1968 1600 I drove from west palm Beach to
Quebec and back
The 1974 I drove from Wpb to British Columbia
4 months camping in 1975
The 1977 bmw 320i I sold in 1979 to buy a home.
The 1979 733i in 1985
Another 4 2002's I bought and sold
Then no cars
In 1987 I saw the most beautiful car ever, the newly built
1988 M5 . I had money but not that kind of money .
The new m5 cost approximately $10k more than the house I
Had bought 9 years before.
Back then I would often look at cars and wonder when they would be used enough for me to buy it used Lol
The stock market collapsed shortly afterwards and I was lucky to just have my business.
In 2006 ( my first retirement) I realized I could buy whatever
car I wanted and looked at the BMW and Porsche
But the strong pull of my memory took me back to the O2's I had logged so many trips in.
After a 4 year search for a "rust free " o2 I found one
In California and had it shipped to Ray Korman.
Ray did a beautiful job of complete restoration of all mechanical ( the car body and interior were Almost perfect.

My favorite thing is the road trips so I attended The Vintage in Winston Salem and now I've attended most of them.
Again the M5 grabbed my heart, the car I couldn't afford.
In 2017 I decided to buy a m5.
I trolled every site to find the car that would be
Physically beautiful and priced to allow me to send to Ray.
Ray warned me that any e28 m5 engine/transmission rebuild
Would be expensive.
I saw many scammers and general Bullshit artists
Traveled across country and gave up 3 times before
I found my M5.
No rust and a complete rebuild by Ray less than 1200 miles earlier.
Here I am planning on a trip back to the Vintage.
Thanks for having me

Welcome. I drove to West Palm Beach from Philly once to celebrate my completed engine rebuild years ago.
