Original BMW factory training video for M88 engine.

Post by S38Mike »

Found this last night while nerding out researching my S38 engine build. Great info about setting throttles/mixture/idle speed toward the end of the video that, when used in combination with the service manual, can be very helpful. Also a great source of correct finishes/plating/routing for restorations. Turn on on English subtitles and enjoy.

So awesome. The auto translated, English subtitles are actually pretty good. Thanks for sharing.

Whenever the music kicked in, I expected to hear "Now is the time on Sprockets when we dance."

Glad you guys enjoyed it!
I haven’t been around these parts for a while, changed jobs, had a second son, fixed all my family and friend’s BMW’s  It’s finally my turn so my engine build is finally moving along. As a parent, finding the time to do the work is almost harder than finding the money
I’ll post a massive build thread when I’m done.
I can’t wait to put this video to use once I build it. God I miss my M5!
