George,

Do you have any e30 interior light delays left? I need one of those too.

I have plenty more sensors left.

Of the interior light dealy units, I'm sorry - I'm sold out right now - but it looks like I'm going to make up another batch. They also work on e28/e24/e32 BTW.

Shoot me an email at george.graves@gmail.com if you want me to add you to the list.

Thanks.

temp sensor

Post by hubble1953 »

So my m535i is going from 110-93 to 83 all over the place??
Does that mean I need this sensor? Does your sensor work on the m535i? 1985 euro???
thanks,
If it does and I need it, I want one.

It most like means that you have a bad sensor - I'd almost bet on it.

(sometimes you can get a break in the wiring, but that's a different issue - and I can help you with that)

Do you know anything about starting issues on a m535i?
My car turns off when I turn on the lights...strange, buy the ignition switch is not working. I am using the diag. plug to start the car right now.
thanks,
jm

Great. Can't help you with the problem. If it was me I'd get under there with a flash light ASAP. I'd almost bet it would be something wrong that you could see.

You can read what great experiences people have had with it in this thread here: http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?t=50 ... sc&start=0
NH Bimmer wrote:I received the sensor the other day, and installed it yesterday. Works great! Readings seem spot on, no issues. Thanks again!
- Works on both e28/e24 OBCs. (pm me for other models)
- Easy install
- Replaces the OEM unit
- bypasses the often troublesome OEM connector.
- come with 12" pig tail to be spliced into the stock wiring
- Unlike the OEM sensor - it's completely sealed and designed to last a lifetime.

Now, if you are anything like me, it’s embarrassing to have something broken on your car that is so easy to fix.
Until now, the cost of a new OBC temp sensor (about $80) kept all of us from doing it.

I’ll provide full instructions with each unit. But this has to be one of the easier fixes on an e28.

-Crawl under the car where the drivers side fog lamp is.
-Find your old non-working OBC sensor (or the plug if it is stock sensor is missing)
-Attach the two wires
-Secure the sensor to the car, and enjoy.

(pictured is an e30 just for reference)
