Thanks to everyone that reached out. I got it all sorted out.
Hopefully I will be making it to The Vintage now.

Hello,

Just a question: How long or mileage is the brake booster supposed to last??? I guess it depends on many things, but there must be an "average" figure out there. Thanks

What I believe was the original one in mine went to 271K before it was leaking pretty good and I replaced it. I don't have the record of it, but the probable very high mileage replacement out of a junkyard didn't last very long. So I did the O ring, which went til I sold the car several years later.

Unfortunately the accumulator, AKA bomb, doesn't last nearly as long.

Mike, did you replace all the booster with a new one or just a O'ring renewal??. Mine had over 200k miles (not 100% sure because the odometer was broken when I bought the car). It is possible to change some internal parts in a Hydraulic booster???
