WTB: shift knob

Post by Tom4444 »

Looking for a shift knob. Leather mushroom is preferred but anything that will fit the oem shifter for an e28 535.

Just need something for a few months until I settle in something more permanent, so it doesn’t have to be in new condition.

Thanks

Just spend $80 for the correct pattern ZHP knob and move on. Better than a short-shift kit and will work on every model. I have them on E28, E34, and E39. :dunno:

Might not be OEM appearance or quality, but check Amazon or ebay. They often have mediocre quality, but not bad, for stupid cheap prices. I got one that way for my E36, $15 shipped IIRC. And E36 and E28 knobs interchange. Short term, ~8 months in it looks great and feels fine.

If you're a purist, disregard the above.
