Does the 260/5 have the speedometer output?

I’m interested in Ohio 44094

Here's a couple more pics

I must admit I am not 100% sure. There is this sensor on the bell housing I assume is the flywheel engine speed sensors. Then there is that other little plug that I dont see what else it could be than a speedometer output.

I'll let you be the judge or maybe others want to chime in.

Nope. “That’s not it!” As Eddy Murphy used to say.

The speedo hook up is a round mechanical port. I’ve come to find out these transmissions don’t have them. Thanks for checking I actually already have access to one of these.

The one with the red arrow is the reverse light switch.

The speedo drive on a 265 getrag is on the driver side left side of the transmission. Down low on the tail section in the rear.

E23s while great cars, except for the HVAC, like Bavarias/E3's before them get no respect or lust. G265/6's have gotten very expensive, much from the E9 guys who do need a speedo output, but you're still on the high side. Also the last I knew, and I don't keep up with exchange rates, the Ca$ is less than the US$ so it might appear to be more expensive than it is. Still, the value is in the tranny, not the swap.

Genuinely no sarcasm, GLWS.
