Yes, you have to replace a few other things like afm, ice, hose for it, injectors, fpr and a couple other small things

I'm late to the party, but will be doing a 1.3 swap with Miller MAF on my B34 - can I still use my JB Racing aluminum flywheel?

Yes, the 1.3 uses no flywheel reference sensor

Have a new kit with brand new bosch original oxygen sensor (correct screw on for the b35), all sheathing and tape removed. Rewrapped in super 33 3M tape, removed old pick style connectors and soldered quick release connectors, entire upper harness has been rewrapped. You only need to connect the c103 on your own car (tach and fuel econometer). Everything else still comes with it like in the first post otherwise.
415 for this one, a lot of time has went into it and new o2 sensor.

Hi there! Bimmerguy - you and I had been chatting over PM and all of a sudden it seems that the forum no longer allows me to compose and send DM's. Last note I left was that I would check my fuse box connector, it looks to be circular so should fit. Just need to be able to contact you so that I can get this M30 in and running :D. Sorry in advance for my ignorance wrt the forum nerfing me haha... thanks friend

Question for Bimmerguy2002, this may have been answered before,
but do your conversion kits work with EH cars?

Thanks

If you're referring to the automatic trans wiring, no it doesn't. It is separate and you need to do that part of it yourself. It will work, but you will be in limp mode all the time. The best scenario is find someone parting an early car and grab the non-EH trans out of it.

BuzzBomb can correct me as I believe he knows how to do this conversion, but the 1.3 conversion with an EH Auto is possible, and this kit gets you part way there. The transmission control unit (TCU) needs input from an automatic TPS, engine speed output, and fuel rate output to work properly (the TCU also sends a shift signal to Motronic to retard timing on shifts). The primary modifications required involve tying the TPS signal from the new harness into the C238 plug alongside the glovebox. Studying the e28 ETM (page 2460-3) and an '88 635CSI ETM (page 2460-2) will give you a good idea of what you need to do.

You are not wrong, as long as you’re using an automatic harness. All the signals you mentioned are included in the harness so you don’t need to add them. You just need to make a few connections between the e28 trans ecu and the 179. I told people back in the faq that I would offer the pin outs to whoever asked for them.

You can click the name but i think you have to have a certain amount of posts (dont remember the rules regarding new members/members with low post count).
email is Jspec20===@===hotmail===dot===com without the equal marks if regular email is faster. I build them to order and usually takes a week due to work.
