Hi all,
So my shitbox is finally driving again. However I'm experiencing this weird problem where sometimes, ignition just goes away. No, no misfire! Either runs perfect or basically shuts down. It does it colder too, but mostly when it's getting warmer. It does it low and full throttle too. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Can't find anything to connect it to. A friend of mine said probably crank sensor. The one on the car is less than a year old ERA unit. Could it die in such a short time?
I've replaced already the following:
CPS - ERA
Rotor - vemo
rotor housing - hella
cables - meat and doria
spark plugs - ngk
coil - new M5 bosch
temp sensors black - facet
injectors - bosch
DME - tested, good one
complete wiring - custom
The only thing I have NOT replaced is the "camshaft" sensor - well basically spark plug cable sensor. But as far as I know, that can't cause such a problem?
Thank you!
Note: *car has no charge from alternator. I don't think this has anything to do with it, just letting you know
M30B35 *sometimes* no-igntion problem
Re: M30B35 *sometimes* no-igntion problem
Update. I barely drove the car, so I didn't have much time so far to notice all it's problems. The car sometimes hesitates a bit around 1.5-3k rpm. Probably has something to do with this.
