e28 Roll Cage Suggestions

Hey all!

Anyone out there have a an e28 roll cage they want to sell or have a recommendation? Son is building an e28 track car. Your input is appreciated!

I had a local shop make me a roll bar for my car - it's a nice/clean HPDE car though, not a race car. What is he going to do with the car, and how nice is it? Are you/he going to be doing the welding and fab work?

I have no idea of what a typical price is, but for an E28 specific one that sounds like a steal to me. :dunno:

It sounds like they ship a kit of notched tube and you weld it together? wonder what the “lateral supports” attach to? The link on their website to instructions returns a 404 error.

Yeah, I don't know what that means. Notched typically means indented or recessed, but that may not be what they mean. Also they use the same CAD illustration for all cars and everything is the same price. It appears to be a US company at least.

Thanks RetiredDoc! I'll check them out. I'm not sure what class he'll be racing in, most likely a vintage class. 85 e28, M90, 265/6 with 4.10 LSD

Thanks Mike! e28 is clean chassis and we're dropping a M90, 265/6 with 4.10 LSD in it, We have help to weld and fab. Wish us luck!
