86 528e (07/85 manufacture date) started misfiring, went to replace original cap and rotor and new part included replacement bolts made of the cheapest steel possible. 2 out of 3 broke when tightened with an allen wrench. Looking at taking off camshaft adapter and potentially extracting bolts, or just replacing part but cant find which one i have. I have found 2 different versions linked below, i think option one is the one i have but cant confirm. If you have any information as well as where to look/how to confirm which i have that would be appreciated. Also, if/when i take this part off will there be a way tell which way it needs to go back on? I've seen some of them have pins or notches to align them and keep them in time with the engine.

option 2: https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/ ... yPassCat=Y
Current part:
Any and all help would be appreciated, also please post your bolt extracting tips

Assuming your car still has the original equipment in it you can go to https://www.realoem.com/ and put your VIN in then navigate to that part and see what the original part number was to determine which one you need.
