lsd diff

Post by Noahv_c »

hi, I found a 188 lsd for a decent price I would like to buy of this guy, Im just not sure if the ratio will work for my car. I have a e28 with a m20b25 and Im using a open 3.91 diff right now the lsd i found is a s3.45, anyone knows if this ratio is any good for my m20? and if not would it be good if I installed a 2.7/2.8 stroker kit and a ITB, Im planning on doing that in the future and this LSD is a good deal so I think its worth to get it anyway if it works on a m20 with these upgrades. :D

A 3.45 is going to be a large case, and is an extra 20 lbs you don't need. A 3.46 medium case would be good, or a 3.73.

It's advertised as a 3.45 188 diff from the pictures I cant see if it has the big 210 or smaller 188 flanges but I'll ask the seller, if it is a 188 diff would that mean it can't be a 3.45?
