M20 Stroker help

Post by Frostedd »

Right now im trying to build a SETA stroker setup. i already have 99% of the parts but the pistons... mistakenly i bought regular 325i pistons, are they the same as the super ETA pistons besides the length of the side skirt? If yes would i be able to send the pistons to the machine shop to get the skirts shaved down to clearance the crank shaft? Any help would be great, thanks!

I believe the deck height is different. With the 81mm stroke you will have these things popping up above the deck at TDC.
