Are you by any chance going to swap over to megasquirt?
That would probably fix the issue haha
I still haven't gone for a drive with 0 degrees of advance at idle, but I'm pretty sure I'll see numbers like yours

Hadn't considered MegaSquirt, but may be worth looking into.
The ignition timing is still interesting to me because I can't seem to get a spec on spark advance at idle. Ignition Timing seems to be the thing everyone ignores because it's DME controlled and non-adjustable in the stock setup. I need to put a timing light on another stock E28 to see what it shows at idle.
