I like your thinking haha
try to make a "circlip" that goes around most of that lip and use the puller on that if you can

Anyway, it will be easy to modify the aftermarket bearing.

Dumb question, how? Now I'm not a machinist, but I can get pretty creative if need be, but the bearing is crazy hard steel.

I will give it to a friend of mine from the Israeli Airforce workshop.

Awesome! Now you can finally compare the internals of the Getrag 280 vs the 265/6!

Looking forward to this as my spare 265/6 has some input shaft play. :D

Most impressive, all of it.

But I've got a problem with it. I can't figure out how I would ever replicate it if I needed to! :dunno:

I plan on making a small batch. The whole thing with the pipe cut to lenght so you screw it on and put your puller on it.
test5 will receive first one and report.Once it's proven to work as anticipated I'll make other ones, limited offer.

Hope it work great, already bought the material(mild steel) and metal aint cheap these days.I dont see how it could go
wrong tho.I rushed to have the 2nd side done before holydays but Omicron cut the grass under my feets :x

7 kits will be availible

I'd like these to go to peoples who will put it to good use and contribute to our common 265/6 knowledge.

I engage myself towards buyers of this kit to build future tools needed as we get deeper in the transmission.

Let me know if your interested

I am in South Africa. I am busy assembling my Getrag 265/6 but I am clueless where two 8mm ball bearings fit into before I fit the output cover. Do they fit loosely into the selector shaft holes for the selector shafts 1&2 and 5&R behind the 8mm cross pin? I know that three of them fits into the middle casing with springs for the detent of the shafts.

17 Ball D=8MM III 5 07119986280 $0.66
