M badge 50 year anniversary

Post by stuartinmn »

BMW now has a 50 year anniversary M roundel, in several different diameters - 74mm, 82mm, 95mm. There are also wheel hubcaps and valve stem caps.

Where did you find the 74mm?
You're link is the to 82 which lists only the part numbers for the 82 & 95mm at the bottom.

The 74mm version was listed at the bottom of that page for me> https://www.shopbmwusa.com/product/1486 ... DGE-(74MM) You may have to scroll that "others also looked at" part at the bottom to the right, there's a couple page's worth of related items.

Hmmm, weird it's not there when I click on that link. It's strange that I can't even find any of these if I use Firefox but if I switch over to Chrome, there they are.
The trick is not to enter your vehicle; if you enter say an '85 5 Series it automatically locks out these badges (regardless of browser).

I do need new Roundels, but that's low on the priority list but I did order a t-shirt yesterday.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm...

Or is it more like full blown sarcasm?

Does anyone know if the 74mm will fit the e28 trunk?

I don' think any will fit the trunk. If you look at is closely, the trunk one is kind of bent. BMW only sells "flat" ones.

I have one on my hood, and also bought some for the rims, just didn't install them yet.
