Euro front valance sources?

Post by gwb72tii »

Hi

I'm getting in this a little late, but am trying to source a front Euro valance, p/n 41331922063.
I'm finding out BMW will not ship euro spec parts to the USA which is short sighted.

Anyone have a source? Ideas for sources?

So far I've emailed 5 different companies outside the USA, but I'm hesitant about buying from places like Estonia.

TIA

Schmiedmann should be able to help. Great customer service and fast shipping.

Ivo at e28.nl is another valuable resource. Personally haven’t used them but a lot of members recommend.

There was discussion of getting € parts and the BMW lawyers helping BMWNA decide to require proof of ownership of a € model and then it might be a while before NA would approve the part. Seems some are not legal in the US and we all know BMWna has not stomach for the US legal system if they can avoid it.

Anyway, if you can find a local real €-car owner that will work with you to purchase one from the dealer, it might work. I don't know as I haven't had to get specific €-only parts for my 7 since the new rules were put in place.

Alternate offshore suppliers could be a better option.
