WTF is a B7
Aren't there about a dozen different B7 chassis?
Is it an e-code or f-code or g-code, they probably have a B7 with each of those codes. Hell IDK.

Re: Added a B7 to my garage !!
I happened to see this recently posted video on YouTube, it's a documentary on Alpina. It mainly covers development, testing and construction of new models but there are brief clips of older cars. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_axc8J_4zKk
One thing I found interesting was the automated tool they use to engrave the Alpina VIN on the shock tower under the hood. It actually crosses out the BMW VIN and then writes the new Alpina VIN underneath (except for US spec cars.)
