Happy 34th Birthday to me... well, to my E28, technically... I was 25 when it was born...
On November 11th, 1987, my 1988 528e rolled off the assembly line in the town of Dingolfing, bound for the United States. Thirty-four years later, it does nearly daily duty on the rough-and-tumble streets of New York City... but like most every other night in its 34-year-history, it sleeps inside a comfy garage every night (except when I'm off having fun with it).

Re: The E28 Birthday Note
Mine turns 35 this month. Though I am not sure how to locate the day it was manufactured. It is used nearly daily to go to work, though not driven in the snow unless I get caught off guard. It has lived outside for at least the 12+ years I have had it. It turned over 190,000 on the drive to New England this summer (now 194k).

We've been talking about a get-together locally for awhile now... but this damned pandemic is messing everything up. It'll happen soon... in 2022, I hope.Fanclutchnut wrote: ↑Nov 11, 2021 7:23 AM Cheers man. Hope to see u out there on the streets of NYC soon!
