Wow that's great news. This should be much more user-friendly for when I recommend your services to others. Good luck.

Site looks good! While I have no current need, do you sell rebuild kits too, or just the finished product? I'm thinking of the wingcell A/C compressor specifically as it seems to be leak prone. But I have had steering boxes leak too, along with the hydro booster...

My signature is on all of my posts,
it must be a fault of the program, see my post just above yours, has it.

All of my others have it.

Shawn,

Not my fault, its the site program error.
All of my others have it.
That's some strange phrasing -- I wasn't assigning "blame."

FWIW, this is what I see:

That's what I see as well, but why not just post a link to your site, not to the post about it. Such as

https://www.jaysbmwparts.com/

And maybe subtitle it something about PS/Hydroboost/AC compressor rebuilding.

Hi Mike,
In the past all of my e28 clients had to reach me through the (For Sale-Parts Wanted),
and the Admin would not allow me to post in General Conversations,
If you like my old site, it is still there, and I keep it updated, as it has more information!
just search here, (JCS my 17 websites) google (jaybigcoupe) or https://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?f=4 ... s#p1408088

I have received so many complaints over my old website, was to complacated, hard to navigate, on and on.
It was because too many people do not read, or they do not have the time, on and on.
I could never afford a real website.

On my new site, https://www.jaysbmwparts.com/ and if you are on your cell, CLICK on the 3 lines at the top right of the screen for the MENU.

Best, Jay

Check with Jeremy, but I think, repeat think, he might have been referring to a F/S ad in GC, not a link in your signature.

Yeah we know. But you're plugging it is starting to feel more like spam. Once or twice a year, NBD. Every month, feels like every day.

Just my .02.

And double posting in GC and Tech feels even more like spam.

No, none of those things. Yes I have looked at your site, more than once, but having no need I haven't bought anything off it. I think you're providing a good service. But I feel like I'm seeing your bump all the time, like the Harbor Freight ads that come out nearly daily. And if I were the PD, it would imply I was doing something, not just giving my opinion, my .02 as I stated. Sorry if I struck a nerve, but your reaction almost suggests you saw it coming.

Agreed. Going forward, Jay, please stick to quarterly only. If I see it double-posted, one of the threads is going to get locked or deleted.

The service you're providing is awesome and much-needed, but the repeated posts aren't.

Jay, talk to someone in charge, cough up some cash and pay for a sticky and leave the bumping to others.

I'm with others that see your ads too much as I've been here long enough to find your post with links when I need the service. Thanks.
