I have a nice 528i and am almost done with a two year build. Started as an original Euro 528i swapped with a GM LS1 and T-56 six speed. After a small incursion on the freeway, a young lady swerved into me forcing a bump with the guardrail, I decided to upgrade the drive train and clean up the car . I will try to chronicle some of the details over the next couple weeks.
Started with a basic 5.7 liter Ls1 from an early Camaro. I scaled it and weight is within 50 pounds of my stock 88 535is.

I was just thinking about this car the other day. Glad to see you’re still around and looking forward to more photos and stuff.
Re: Euro 528i Build (570)
That looks like a nice 5. similar to what I started with.
My build plan in condensed form is:
1. New engine (LS7 w/505hp and 7000 rpm limit. New T56 6 speed,
2. Suspension upgrade, M5 steer box (rack and pinion later), reinforce struts with metal between spindle and strut, and sway bar brackets, 8 inch and 10 inch wheels (for 275/40 rear tires), bigger 210mm limited slip diff and aluminum or Carbon drive shaft. .
3. Engine bay cleanup, soundproof, repaint.
4. New performance Radiator,
5. Custom air filter box
6. Relocate battery under rear seat
7. Bigger Sway bars
8. Trans bracket upgrade
9. Make a Throttle bracket (electronic, not cable)
10. Interior: New Dashpad, Upgrade steering wheel, Recover seats, new glass
11. New aluminum trim, side mouldings and rubber all around
12. New mirror motors and glass.
13. Plus, Plus, Plus…
Suspension upgrade, do I use the Ground Control struts, or just beef up my struts with the H&R springs. For now I’ll use existing struts. Weld brace for the spindle, plus reinforce the sway bar tabs, sandblast and powder coat.
Welded and ready for paint

528I's are the business! What an awesome build.
I really enjoy the 25/19 Big ST sway bars, and the reinforcement kit with a front ( if can fit) & rear strut tower brace if you don't have already.
And some front aero dynamics with lip spoiler? With that power, more downforce might be nice, I noticed a huge difference adding one- grabs the road. It has a clean look already, maybe a tasteful pheba would do nicely.
