I'd be in if there is any shot at a central East Coast bundle. I'm in WV and willing to travel NC to MD to IN to TN or anywhere in the square that makes.

Nothing wrong with Florida, but I'd prefer not to drive down there just to pick the windshields... can you put me in the NY list instead? :heehee:

Shipping will need to be done regionally, I don’t have my stuff with me but I think we have large demand in these areas
1. Florida
2. New York
3. Denver

the price will go up and we are going to have to travel to get them to where people need them. I’m More than happy to shuttle them across the midwest and store some for pickup. I go to Denver an Kansas City a few times a year and travel all over Nebraska.
so who is still in
I THINK I'm still in, but I don't want to commit not knowing the new price, or at least an estimate of it. That could also change my quantity.
We WERE looking at approximately $150-200 originally, right?
Is the higher price specified anywhere? If so, I haven't been able to find it in the thread. I apologize for my ineptitude.
A little help, please?

And thanks again, Dan! You are tenacious!

Columbus, Ohio is well within my driving range so there's three that for that area, or I can meet someone down south and meet up somewhere in between Columbus and Charleston, WV to deliver.

Autover is no longer in business so they are out of the picture, Depending on how far you are willing to travel we could figure something out. But I have a feeling two windshields isn't going to be cost effective.

In case I did not miss it, I would like to put in another attempt for a green/green. I realize I'm late to the party... serves me right for spending less time on the internet...

I am in NYC, but I will be driving the E28 past your town this spring and will pick it up hopefully for a local installation?

Please let me know if this is even possible at this point. Again, apologies for not noticing this til now. And thanks for your efforts!

Are you coming down I80? I can work on finding someone. Haven't gone that far yet without a windshield, but I have heard of two people who do the gasket style.

Hey. I just looked at the map. Yikes. There doesn't look to be a good way from Omaha to you, and that back up to I90 so I can go into South Dakota... without backtracking. I gotta think on this a bit more and see what my local options are before I leave. Thanks for getting back to me!!!

No worries. I'm right on I-90, and also on the list. If it all works out, I can hang onto yours until you roll through, and recommend a shop to do an install.

My storage rates are very reasonable. ;)

No update from Ivo.
I was really in a pinch to get a windshield before my insurance claim expired so I took a few shots online. BMW of Lincoln would only order one with a euro vin and it would be 2-4 months. Schmiedmann said a week...

I placed the order with Schmiedmann for part 51311848431 and 10 days later it shipped from Denmark, 14 days after ordering it was at my door.

I was worried since it had DHL repack stickers on it and the delivery guy threw it at my door. But it made it! Its an expensive option, but at least there is a way!

I'm still going to be working on this, I would like to have a spare on hand for the future. I will let you guys know if Ivo gets back to me.

I have been amazed at the stuff Schmiedmann is willing to ship to us in the past. Excellent service from those guys.

Out of curiosity, what did that run you for the glass + shipping?
