I've called every day this week and half the time nobody picks up the other half the contact isn't in. Jack suggested I contact Europe directly, so I'm sending that email now.

I put in for a green/green windshield. If it would make it easier when the time comes I can take a full crate or two and store at my house in the north DFW area.
My work is a commercial shipping address in Fort Worth. This way also if there are any guys in TX, AR, OK, LA they could participate. Makes for cheaper shipping per windshield?

Okay, the way Autover would like to do this is as follows. You would pick up windshields at a local shop that carries the windshields. This would drastically keep shipping costs down.

Just so everyone knows, this will deplete the stock of Green/Green e28 windshields and in the future. They will not be made again without a batch order, furthering the NLA depression.

The order is about to be placed, to start getting the windshields over to the USA. The spreadsheet has been updated, and I'm holding off on sending for a response from a few of you.

Sorry if I sound lost here, but, since my name is on your list, do you need me to do anything right now?
Or is that a good thing? :?
And once again, thank you. This has got to be making you crazy!

Technical question re: these new glass screens, but does anyone know what kind of UV blocking or heat rejection film these might have?
I already bought new glass from Ivo, and the only thing I can think to test with would be my sons auto darkening glasses...

I've called every day and have not been able to get anyone. I will keep calling, if I'm good at anything it's being a pain in the ass.

I know this is way after the fact, but I am interested in one for my 1988 M5 and am in NYC. Are you still taking orders or has this ship sailed?

That's a rad buy. I love seeing stuff like this. I got lucky Maxine got a new screen a couple years ago. Gosh it makes a difference. My tii was horribly pitted from Texas sand and stuff.

Guys I have no news, my calls are sent to voicemail now. I've called and emailed the contacts overseas. Hopefully something comes of it. I'm very motivated to get one as mine is badly cracked. I haven't forgotten fellas.

Guys,
I'm sorry but I think all hope of this happening is dead. I can't get a response from anyone. Feel free to reach out to Autover and see if you can get a windshield.

I apologize if this held your project up, I'm going to start looking elsewhere for windshields.

Bummer, but not unexpected. Really appreciate the effort you put into this.
