Ground Control has complete Coilover Kits for the E28's. The complete set is priced at $1939.00. Here is the direct link to their website.

That's interesting - I thought Ground Control phased out 28 coilovers years ago. I guess they had a change of heart.

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question but I couldn’t tell from the website: do you send your struts to them as a core, or can you keep the originals?

From what I read on the website, there was no mention of sending you old part as a core charge.

It does say, "PLEASE REFERENCE OUR FAQ ABOUT HOW TO SHIP YOUR STRUTS TO US!! CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO SEND YOUR HOUSINGS TO US", so I assume you have to provide your originals to be modified.

you can either send your existing housings in to be modified/assembled, or, if they have cores in stock, will build you a set with what they have in inventory, you pay a core charge, and once yours are received back at GC, will refund you the aforementioned fee.
