I got a CL alert for this and thought I'd share. It's pretty beat up but it does have euro bumpers, Supersprint exhaust, Cardinal interior, Coco mats... Could be a great start for someone looking to get in the e28 game, although the rust is intimidating.

That A-pillar "rust" looks more like poor body repair after a fairly invasive frame shunt.

looks promising, but it needs at least $20K in careful and quality body work, like for yesterday. I can only begin to imagine what the floorboards, jacking points or the rocker panels look like

I've seen that car around the city from time to time, and I recognize the intersection it's parked at in the ad. Looks good from a distance, obviously the rust is not inconsiderable. As long as it's not anything that's going to casue a suspension mount or your feet to punch through the floor, it seems perfectly fine for a beater-quality driver that you can drive year-round, as it appears to have been well-maintained.
