GARAGISTIC is an outfit in California that fabricates some nice performance/maintenance parts (braided SS brake hoses, shifter knobs, strut braces, subframe refreshes, motor mounts, etc etc). Their work is very 3-series focused (E30-E36-E46). The other day I commented on one of their Instagram posts, "what will it take for you to produce more stuff for the E28", and their response was
"we really need to purchase one to use as a measurement jig"
So, if anyone has a car (probably even a non-running shell) you need / want to get rid of, I'd reach out to them. It would really be for a good cause, if it results in them giving some attention to the E28 platform.

GARAGISTIC wants to buy an E28

I can hardly wait to see those school-bus-sized "short-shift" kits on an E28!

if they REALLY wanted to buy one, they would have by now imo.

True, but I would like to see if they'll put their money where their mouth is. Time will tell.Chicagotrader92 wrote: ↑Jan 29, 2024 5:57 PM if they REALLY wanted to buy one, they would have by now imo.
And no, although there is a fair share of those items, it's not all about accessories for the "riced-out street-racer" look. If anything, I'd like more options available from a reputable fabricator, not fewer.
