Stumbled across this. The seller could have made it look a lot better if they'd removed the plastic from what appear to be refurbished front seats, and in general, given it a good detail job including the engine compartment. But, it looks like it's a legit M535i. Didn't make reserve, but it might be a pretty good deal for a few grand more.

No. It is clear that antenna is after-market.
All antennae are passenger side, EU or US. Curious as to why this car doesn't appear to have had one, maybe it was customer delete option when first purchased. Either that or the car was repainted and they filled the hole

They could be ordered without an antenna. Some early euro models also had a manual antenna rather than powered which was located in the front fender from the factory.
