Here's the introduction thread from December 2014.
viewtopic.php?t=130587

Since I'm tech challenged at adding pics,
here's the ad I purchased the car thru,
https://photos.app.goo.gl/LtM4psb3DZZiMc9q8
which will add a few more details to what's shared in the introduction thread.

The changes from when I acquired it:
β€’ E34 bumpers gone, replaced with US iS.
I still have the bumpers though. πŸ˜‚
β€’ Halo headlamps gone.
β€’ E34 manual front seats installed, now with a tear.
β€’ Black carpet installed.
β€’ Cleaned up stuff under the hood.
β€’ ///M5 cluster, with mileage approximating S38B38 mileage, needing odo gears.
β€’ Galahad fuse box.

Driver's door is having a bondo failure, but I have a spare black door that goes with the car.
There's a light clunk when initially turning steering wheel when sitting still.
The car is a driver, as is, and I'd jump in it and drive it anywhere.

This is the last of the Der Bimmer Garten cars.
I was planning to hold on to this unicorn
and complete the ///M5 black/black clone build.
β€’ I've got most of the ///M5 interior console/bolster bits, in Natur, ready to be dyed black.
β€’ A set of black sport seats in need of minor upholstery work.
β€’ ///M tech wheel in very good condition.
β€’ E28 ///M5 cable for battery relocation to trunk.
β€’ Rear strut bar with battery tray built in.
β€’ Headers and track pipe to replace S38B35 manifolds.
+ complete set of replacement coils.

I'd like to sell the car along with all the above listed items so the ///M5 clone build can be completed by the new owner, but am open to either way.

Price for car + listed items is $22,500 +/-.

Here's a link to some pictures,
https://photos.app.goo.gl/LYCJLWaiCUmgSwVW6
which tell a little more of the story.

Car is familiar to many around the country as it has been driven from TX to NC for several Vintage events, and also here in TX to our annual TexFest meet, and other gatherings.
As mentioned above, it's not perfect as it sits today, but can be jumped in to and driven anywhere in the country, 🀞 w/o issue.
It'll need a new set of tires sooner than later.

If you've got serious interest and questions,
holler and I'll respond.
Additional pics or conversation can be had via text to
8three2 three2six 9Ofour7.

It goes w/o saying, but I'll say it anyway,
"NO TIRE KICKERS PLEEZE"

Thanks for shopping.

Unicorn is the way to best way to describe it.

And I can’t believe I never had seat time in it, even passenger!

Well, that didn't go well.
The guy's clammed up for nearly a week.
Hope all is OK,
but since no monies changed hands,
he's back on the market.

So we know, is there a user we need to be wary of?

Not just yet.
Maybe I misread his intent in his communications.
We were on a Signal chat and after he made his offer, he's not read, according to my Signal info, one follow-up post I've made including the acceptance.
