FS: 1990 735i - Colorado

Post by tschultz »

I thought I'd use this as a donor for B35 swap but I don't think I am going that route.

1990 bmw 735i with inline 6 cylinder engine. 150k miles.

Some faded paint and cosmetic imperfections but a solid running car.
New shocks all around. Recent valve adjustment, new front rotors, new front bushings.
Shifts smooth, drives smooth. Still has a slight shimmy at 60mph though I haven't investigated after doing LCAB's shocks and rotors. Flushed brake fluid as well.

Has a slightly saggy headliner and average interior (32 years old!) With a few splits. Tires from 2019. Has some quirks with lightbulb warnings and brake pad warnings. Cracked windshield, AC needs a recharge. Cracked rear bumper and clearcoat failing on top surfaces. Seats a little dry but usable as a cheap commuter. Rear muffler has some holes in it but it isn't obnoxiously loud.

Located in Denver, CO.

Asking $3000 for a car you can drive away with a good low mileage M30B35 and trans. E32's are quite smooth and so quiet inside!

What a beauty, hope who ever ends up picking it up keeps it together. Let’s keep her on the road!

Thanks for the thought profile. Sure are getting hard to find. This one has some cosmetic issues but is clean underneath without rust. The e32's are long gone from the junkyards and M30B35's are getting scarce it seems.

Lowered price, now asking $2500 for mye28 members. I would like to have the cash to start on my M30 engine build!
