I am currently selling my 1985 528e, which has a gold exterior and black interior. The car drives great and does not leak any fluids. While the car has over 250,000 miles, it has been repainted, all news suspensions parts, interior all redone and a '88 super Eta engine and tans swap that has a little over 100,000 miles. California car with no rust. AC works great. Full tool kit. Documentation of all work done.
What was done by previous owner:
-1988 Super Eta engine and trans swap
-New OE dash from Germany
-New headliner
-New leather over seats
-New OE horse hair inserts for seats from Germany
-Various suspension parts
-New rear discs and pads

-Wheels refinished

-New OE center exhaust section from Germany
-New rear exhaust section
-New exhaust hangers
-New OE drip rails- both sides
-New front and rear window chrome trim
-New front and rear rubber window frame gaskets
-New Coco Mats front and rear
-Used e34 radio
-New timing belt
-New expansion tank
-New OE rear bumper trim piece
Whats wrong:
-Odometer stopped working
-Front bumper has some oxidation
-Some door gaskets are torn
-Radio needs to be wired

Nice car, Black interior makes a huge difference with a Bronzit car. Lots of work and money went into a car that probably otherwise wouldn't have gotten it. I'd suggest attacking those minor needs though with what still amounts to a strong asking price on a 528e. As nice as the car is, the odometer reading will keep it out of the money on BaT, sadly.

Was this car previously on auto hunter/classic.com out of Arizona? Maybe end of last year/early this year?

This is indeed the car. Originally a California car, then more recently an Arizona car.
