For sale is my 1987 BMW 535iS. 260k miles. Car was in a 25mph front end accident, unfortunately the damage is too extensive to repair. Ran great before the accident. Does have some rust in the rear wheel wells, some on the inside of rear door bottoms - not visible from outside, rear deck lid bubble under roundel, and rear bumper mount rusted on driver side. Interior is in very good shape, one rip in rear seat. Front suspension was rebuilt using bmw parts approx 5k miles ago at over $2,000, sunroof and door seals were replaced at the same time. Includes original window sticker, owners manual, and recent service records. If you need any photos feel free to ask. Located in Kirtland Ohio 44094. Spencer 216-644-3439

Definitely $1250 in parts there to someone who's inclined to part it out.

This sounds like the $500 car recently for sale. Extensive rust in the doors, shock towers etc.

Re: SOLD 1987 535iS Parts Car Red/beige interior $1250
I called this guy and asked him about the car, after listening to his description I told him I would buy the car.
I asked him if a cashier check would be OK. I then asked him to type up a bill of sale and send that and a copy of the title
to me, which he did. I then went to the bank to get a cashier check made out to him for his asking price. The following day I planned to put the check in the mail. Before I mailed the check I called him to let him know, well, I am glad I did. This guy proceeds to tell me that after I told him I would take the car, someone came by to look at it and he sold the car to them. This mans word is less then Steller. I spent 35 years in the car business and I am not accustom to doing business this way. I sure am glad I decided to call him before I put the check in the mail, lord only knows what would have
happened if I had. It's a shame we can't limit this board to (only) people with a high degree of integrity. Just saying!!

OP is a scumbag anyway. Gave the previous seller of the car ($500) a song and dance about fixing it and then put it up for sale right away for more than double. Unfortunately there are plenty of people like that in the world and sadly they seem to get by just fine with their shady deals.
