I watched the driving video. Seemed like a clean car. 16k for a 528e is encouraging.

That's a truly exceptional car though. Still that's good coin no doubt. I don't want this to start happening until I score another one that I feel like selling off though

Sold for $3,606 plus any buyer's premium (Terms said 17% for online bidders but nothing about in-person)

I'll probably look back ruefully in a few years...

I was watching it.. sorta. I intended to check back on it late yesterday afternoon but got busy and forgot. I thought 18% was a little steep, but dunno. My grandfather had a 87 735, great car. There looked to be a lot to like about that car, but the photos were poor quality so I found myself making assumptions as to the paint condition. And the car wouldn't be a perfect fit here, so I know in the back of my mind I'd always want to be stealing the engine.

Granted I never saw it in person but between the photos and videos it looked too nice to be parted out or cannibalized.
