Intake hoses

Post by Burnze »

I am looking to refresh all of the cracked rubber joints and hoses under the hood. I searched on RealOEM but that section is greyed out for my car (1986 euro 524td WBADB110109669791). Are these NLA? If so, what are our alternatives?

I am looking for 6 and 8 below.

I priced these probably 4 years ago and while they could be had it was very expensive, like $250 for two short bits of rubber. I poked around on Ebay and found some silicone hoses intended for a DIY cold air intake or turbo kit or whatever and bought those. They were a bit long so I trimmed to fit. Think that cost me about 25 bucks.

Thanks! I will try to source them if they are still available but am struggling with finding the part numbers. Would you have those jotted down anywhere?

If not, I'll go the universal hose route.

That’s on my list of things to tackle as well. I’ll look into this tomorrow, but what we are looking for are hoses made from Aramid.

Don't have part numbers on hand, whatever info I had came from RealOEM. Seems odd that it won't even return the number, even if it is NLA.

Any silicone coupler works. I got some Mishimoto's from ebay. One 2" diameter x 3" long and one 2.5" diameter x 3" long
