Does anyone know if you can just replace the pump part of the in tank siphon or do you have to buy the whole damned thing? AT!!!!! $480....

you can put in a 4psi unit from a 84ish pontiac (carburated). which is also the same as a diesel 2001 chevy or gmc k7500-c7500. very close to the same size and shape. you have to splice in wires (easy). and the strainer fits great. I can get you part numbers if you want? i got all the parts from napa auto for under 100 bucks, actually less then 35 bucks because my dad works there and the employee discount is great! hope this helps.

Could you go get me those part numbers? I got a used fuel pump to see if it works. If it doesnt I will give this a shot.
