This is the same 335i that was featured in the previous videos. He's running the stage two "juice box" now, but the results were about the same as last time. You can really hear the clutch slip shifting into third in the first vid. Its bad.
I'm still waiting to see the vids from the 408 ci heads/cam/etc LS1 I ran later that night. I'll be sure to update the thread when they show up. |

| Good stuff. Your car is definitely fast. I haven't driven in or ridden in a new 335i but I doubt they are slow. I would consider those two solid victories. |

| Its all in good fun. We both knew the juice box wasnt going to be quite enough to do the job. It almost seems like I was walking away even easier this time though. Might have something to do with the new turbo, manifold and the new tune on the low compression motor. Seems to be working out very well. |

| About 17 psi at sea level. I've got springs for 20 psi, but it needs injectors and a clutch first. Looking for mid-low 12's this summer, hopefully trapping 115-120. Hopefully. |

Heres the video with the SS. That comes up at 2:48. He misses third in the first run, the second one was alot like the rest of them. Wheelspin on the roll on, shift to third and hold about a car behind the SS. In a perfect world, where 225/60 summer tires were enough to hook up 400 ft-lbs of torque, it would have been a little different. Good runs though. |

GOOD STUFF!!
I'd like to see how the 335i does with a clutch that will hold his power. tell him to get a new clutch and race you again.
You'll probably still demolish him |

His clutch is doing fine. The JBS2 doesnt make that much more power. The V2 procede makes 400rwhp and gobs more torque, and as far as I know the stock driveline takes it.
My clutch is fuxored. Especially after that night. I think the beat down would have been even worse had I been putting all the power down. |

| The 335 is on the stock turbos. That e28 isn't a 535 either. I'm running a turbo M20 motor... |

I'm not sure of the exact specs on the stock 335i turbos but I believe they are manufactured by IHI. They are also pretty small. I beleive tuners are making close to 400 whp mark, and I would be willing to bet that the turbos are tapped at that point. Being that the turbos are in parallel, they are running the same pressure, but each flowing 1/2 of the total mass flow. That makes one turbo only good for say, 20-ish lbs per minute tapped out.
I think Dan is running a Garrett GT2871R with a .64 AR turbine housing. Looking at its compressor map it should be good for 40+lbs/min (~65% at that point) over a PR of 2. |

I actually swapped the GT2871 .86 and 524td manifold for a T04e 50 trim with a .58 AR O trim turbine, TCD manifold and Tial external wastegate. Thats what I was running for these videos. It was boosting up to about 17 psi on spoolup, tapering to 15-16 by redline thanks to the crappy manual boost controller.
The last I heard, the Procede was making over 400rwhp on the stock turbos and fuel system on pump gas. |

So far, Ive only seen the 335i's make 400whp with race gas on the stock system. Although I havent been to the E90 forums in a while.
So all the cars in those vids were FI?

| The Camaro SS in the streetfire vid is N/A. The guy has a 408 ci LS1 with heads, a cam and all that stuff. That car did an 11.9 on motor. |
